Cholcom Sentinel (“the app”) is a free cybersecurity toolkit published by Cholcom Limited. This policy explains how the app handles information. The short version: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data we collect

None. Cholcom Sentinel runs entirely on your device. It has no server, no user accounts, and no analytics. All features — including the password checker, password generator, and security score — operate locally on your phone. Nothing you type or generate is sent anywhere or saved off your device.

Password checker

Any password or text you enter into the app is processed on your device and is never transmitted over the internet. It is not logged, stored, or shared. When you close the screen, it is gone.

Permissions

The app requests only the minimum permissions required to function. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, files, or messages.

Third-party services

The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Purchases

Cholcom Sentinel may offer an optional one-time “Pro” upgrade. If you choose to buy it, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. Cholcom Limited does not receive or store your payment card details or any other personal information from the purchase. Please refer to Google’s own privacy policy for how Google Play handles payments.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children, and is suitable for general audiences.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
